I know when firing cannons in Alamo Plaza, they make them use reduced amounts of powder as a full load would shake the ground (and harm the buildings) too much.
In La Villita, do the cannons use full loads or reduced loads of powder? And, having never been to La Villita, does the gunfire/cannonfire sound louder or softer than in Alamo Plaza?

Black powder being expensive, they fired off a full load the first shot and then probably half loads, thereafter. Since La Villita and Maverick Plaza are enclosed areas, the gunfire does indeed sound louder than it does on open Alamo Plaza.
