In the last few months I have become a member of the Board of Trustees for the Proprietary House in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the site of the only remaining British Royal Governor's Mansion, a position held by William Franklin (Benjamin's son) from 1774-1776 until he was arrested by the Provincial Congress of New Jersey. Below are pictures from the arrest reenactment.

Cool pics, Greg. Are you becoming a diehard Rev War reenactor? Those impressions can be expensive, as you know.

Cool pics, Greg. Are you becoming a diehard Rev War reenactor? Those impressions can be expensive, as you know. Not die-hard, just for house events because of, you guessed it, how expensive it is. The jacket and pants I borrow from the house (they have pretty much let me keep it because of how involved I am), the rifle is also borrowed but the rest is mine, including the flintlock pistol which is the prop pistol from the 2004 Alamo movie and the Bowie knife. I would do Civil War instead but that's even more expensive. But for now, this will do.

Have you seen the 1986 Alan Alda movie SWEET LIBERTY, also starring Michael Caine and Michelle Pfeiffer? It's a spoof about Revolutionary War re-enacting. Bill Chemerka makes an appearence as a British officer. Attachments:
